Can't find the view mode in the Curves panel

I can't find  view mode on the curve properties panel in Photoshop cc 2018

Hi Joan:

This is a completely different question from the one you commented on, so I'll branch it to a new thread for you.

We'll need more information to help you. The original question was about the Select and Mask task space, which offers a view menu in the task space. There isn't a comparable menu in the Curves panel, so please help us understand what you are looking for. I'm sure we can help you find it, once we know what it is.

The Curves Panel has not changed from the pre-CC days other than the panel automatically shows Curve Display Options. I suspect you are looking for Curve adjustments via sliders. You will find that feature in Adobe Camera Raw > Curves.

By view mode do you mean the display options that would appear in curves when you use the Image Adjustments menu

With curves as an adjustment layer you need to click at the drop down menu in the properties panel ( circled below) and choose curves display options to see those extra options:
