I have just installed Photoshop CC and when I try to run it i receive the error:

"The instruction at 0x00007FFF7EEE65A0 referenced memory at 0x00007FFF7EEE65AO. The memory could not be written. Click on OK to terminate the program"

I am running Windows 10 Pro on an Intel Core i5 with 8BG RAM.

Any one any ideas whats causing this and how to resolve? Thanks.

Hi chrisngi,

Sorry that you're getting an error message related to memory while using Photoshop CC.

Could you please let us know the exact version of Photoshop and operating system you're using?

I believe that the error message has to do with system memory. Please refer this article if you're on Windows OS: The instruction at 0xec363cd9 referenced memory at 0x00000000. The - Microsoft Community

Thanks,

Akash

This is a desktop pc with dual monitor set up, spec is:

Windows 10 Pro

Intel Core i5-7500 3.41 GHz

8GB RAM

64 bit OS

Photoshop CC latest version

Can't seem to see any errors in the logs.

Thanks.

Hi

Do you have dual GPU's on the PC, like on onboard GPU and a dedicated GPU, if so how are the monitors connected

One monitor is connected via display port and the other VGA. The system is showing that the display adapter is Intel HD Graphics 630/

I think that smells faintly of a buggy video driver, or possibly some other device driver. That's a very frequent cause for Photoshop problems. It can make unusual calls to the driver.

Go through logs to find out what module causes it.

Is this by any chance a laptop with dual graphics? That's also a known problem. Photoshop doesn't work well with that and you should disable one of them.

EDIT: well, several suggestions here, take your pick...
