Cannot type on a path

Hi

I created a path and put text on it as you can see from the image below.

But now when I create a new path (inner white stroke) I cannot place a second line of circular text i.e. the text cursor does not change.

What gives?

Try turning off the first Text Layer and you should be able to add text to the new path

This type of work is often better accomplished in Adobe Illustrator. Should you need to pursue in Photoshop I  recommend dragging your successful type on path layer, onto the new layer icon to make a copy. The edit the copy to your liking.

OK turned off existing text layers, but now it wants to type INSIDE the path.

Hover your cursor over they type. When it turns into an icon like this  <}{> click & pull your mouse to flip the type to inside or outside path.

Your lines are too close. Try moving the cursor to the left to right sections where there is no competing type.

Or move the circle away temporarily then move back after placing text.
