Canon eos r (cr3 files) won't open in ps cc 2019,
supposedly the eos r is now recognized by photoshop but it won't open my cr3 files. My photoshop and bridge are updated. I am working on windows 7.

Can you open ACR 11.0 in Photoshop CC2019?
Double-clicking a raw file in Explorer will do that, without involving Bridge at all.
In any case ACR needs to open through Photoshop once first, to validate the license.
I believe I finally found the solution after many hours of research. I am adding the link to the Bridge solution page in case anyone else has problems.

Keep in mind that I am working on a PC.
The solution seems to be under the section showing you how to "run the adobe application in simplified mode". I did that and it seems to have worked AND (drum roll here) I can now read CR3 files in the updated ACR.
