CC2019 - Missing Content-Aware Fill

I have the last 2019 update.

For some reason I can't find anywhere the new Content-Aware Fill command. I can make "Fill -> Content Aware", but that's the automated Content Aware.

It's missing from the Edit menu (missing, not grayed-out), and couldn't find it in any other menu, doesn't exist in the menus' commands list.

Did it move anywhere else? Changed? Removed?

Thanks

I am having problems getting the new "Content Aware - Fill". I looked at System Info and it says this "Adobe Photoshop Version: 19.1.5 20180604.r.346 2018/06/04: 1175273  x64". I have Windows 10, but I still have the old tool - "Fill - then "Content Aware" in Menu that pops up. I tried to "update" yesterday, but nothing changed.

Try changing your mode to a color mode like RGB color.

Well, I thought it was the last one (v19). Restarted, updated and it's back, thank you.

Wondering what happened since I've already used it in the last 2018 version.

    Hi

The content aware fill menu item came in with CC2019.

Any chance you have both CC2018 (v19) and CC2019 (v20) installed and are inadvertently switching between them? The default behaviour on updating to CC2019 (v20) was changed so that the older CC2018 version is left in place - allowing you to use either and uninstall the older version once you are happy with the new.

I've updated to the 2019 version when it was released a few months ago and made it the default version to be used for PS files (also removed the 2018 shortcut to be sure), so I don't know how it became 2018 again.

Anyway, it's on and updated now, thanks.

In system info, CC2019 shows as v20.0.x     and  CC2018 shows as v19.x.x . Are you sure you have CC2019?

In photoshop go to Help>System Info and look at the top line to see which version of photoshop you have.

What operating system do you have?
