Change png image to Pantone color
I am sort of new to creative cloud apps so please bear with me. I have a logo png image that I want to use in indesign cc. It’s currently just a black shape on a transparent background. I’m using a spot Pantone color (2597 C) in my indesign layout and want the logo to be that color. I figured changing it needs to be done in PS or AI but I have a really old version of those (cs3) and they don’t seem to have the same color libraries. Is there a way I can can change the image color in indesign? Or a way to somehow get the color I want into the old version of AI or PS so I can change it there? or Is there a way to approximate the Pantone color in cmyk? (probably last resort)?
