Question

Cmd Ctrl Q send me to login screen

Hi all,

I used to have the keyboard shortcut Cmd Ctrl Q assigned to Image>Image Size. It's always been the keyboard shortcut I have used. Ever since upgrading to Sierra on my Mac, that shortcut now goes to the Mac OS login screen, i.e. it logs me out.

It's not Mac specific because if I am outside of Photoshop, it doesn't happen. I have searched high and low to see if there is a keyboard shortcut for Photoshop by default that may be doing this, but can't seem to find it anywhere! Even though I have Cmd + Ctrl + Q assigned in my keyboard shortcut list in Photoshop, it still does not work.

Has anyone experienced this or does anyone know a fix?

Thanks

Justin

You can change the Lock Screen shortcut as explained here, then the shortcut should work in photoshop.

Nope, still doesn't work. I change Lock Screen shortcut and it even shows as changed on the Apple dropdown menu, yet CMD CTRL Q still locks the screen when in Photoshop. Again, what is really weird is that it ONLY locks the screen when in Photoshop. It doesnt lock the screen when using any other app. So weird!

I have never experienced this before! Have you double checked in System Preferences > Keyboard > Shortcuts that that particular combination is not assigned? I would double check!
