Color Overlay not working

Hello everybody, my color overlay in color mode is not working properly and I cannot figure out why, here is a screenshot of the obtained effect, the red square is there and I cannot remove it, it also moves when I try to erase it and spread to all the picture when I save it as png or jpg.

Hi

What version of Photoshop do you have, if it's CC2019 this is a known issue, try enabling this option in preferences and restart Photoshop, if that doesn't apply to you please provide more detailed information
