Colorspace Changing when Clicking in Document

Hi,

For some reason, when I open photos in PSD, the colorspace will change, almost like a toggle feature, when I click or make any click and drags within PSD. It's quite annoying! It's not consistent and will only work with certain files. Attached are some screenshots of settings.

I'm working on a MacBook Air with an HDMI to a Samsung Monitor.

Any thoughts will help! Thanks!
