Copy Color's Pantone Code without typing in Photoshop

Hello everyone,

I have this trouble on Pantone Code. I often get the code typed incorrectly. For example I picked 3945C, but when I type it on a sheet that I am working on, I have type 2945C. Is there a way to copy and paste a Pantone color's code without typing it?

Photoshop have this options on the Color Palette menu of Copy color's HEX  code or as HTML but I don't see copy color's Pantone code.

Can somebody please help. Thank you in advance.

Well, there is a roundabout way if you have the Pantone Color Manager, which should be free if you own their swatchbooks.

Software - Software Downloads   You can trial it. The PCM has all the Pantone Swatch Libraries. It's a great tool if you are a frequent user of their products.

Now the roundabout way is save the color book as an Adobe Swatch File. (.aco) and load it into the Swatches Panel.

Then click on the color you want, and the Pantone name is selected in blue. Copy and Paste the name into your list or whatever software takes the number.

There is no fixed RGB value for Pantone colours. Changes with your colour settings. What is fixed is the LAB colour, which is shown.
