I am trying to take an older printed brochure that I have created and make it into a PDF flip book for my portfolio. I no longer have the electronic files that it was created from. What is the best way for me to go about trying to do thhis?

"make it into a PDF flip book"

A flip book is a book where the images change a little on each page, and when you thumb through the pages quickly, they appear to animate. Is that what you are looking for? If so, use the animation panel in Photoshop. If not, please clarify.

I want it to be viewed as you would a traditional catalog with the pages turning every few seconds do. Does that make sense?

You can scan each page of the printed brochure, then in Photoshop choose File > Automate > PDF Presentation and pour in all the scans. It has an automatic page advance option (Advance Every) and some slide show Transition options. There is no page-turning transition option, but maybe one of the Wipe variations would work for you. It will create a PDF document that will open on a wide range of devices. However, not all PDF readers will show a PDF animation; it’s most likely to work properly when viewed in Acrobat on macOS or Windows.
