I'm a PS novice, so this might all be obvious to most but not to me
I can crop my images but I'm preparing my images so I can send them to a photo printing bureau and they need me to have the proportions correct. So if I have an image want them to print on 5x7 paper they need me to prepare the image in the correct proportions so when the scale the image there are no distortions to the X and Y scale.
Some time ago I was watching a photographer using PS and they had a function in PS that allowed them to set some kind of window over the image showing where they needed to crop to the match the paper size they were going to print on. It wasn't a print preview.
Hope I've explained this clearly enough. Thanks for any advice.
I'm using Photoshop CC 19.1.5
Select the Crop Tool, then select the Aspect Ratio 5:7, You can adjust the crop using the handles and move the image so you have the part you want cropped in that window.
