Hello
I cannot access File Info on CS6 v13.0.64 running on my Mac OS 10.12.6 A blank page comes up and I have to force quit PS to escape. I have read that you need to clear your ancestor cache but I don't know how to do that. I have been using CS6 since 2014 so I guess my ancestor cache is huge! But it is very frustrating not being able to access my meta data!

Hi there,
Sorry that Photoshop CS6 open blank on your Mac running the OS 10.12.6.
First of, Photoshop CS6 is supported on Mac OS X v10.6.8 or v10.7. Please note that Photoshop CS6 is over nine years old, and there have been eight major version releases since that.

Would you mind restoring the preferences for Photoshop & see if it helps? See this article for reference: https://t.co/ulJI7cGn1G You may want to backup your settings beforehand: https://t.co/4dX7gkr36D
To get started with other troubleshooting steps, please try checking the steps mentioned in this article https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/basic-troubleshooting.html and let us know if that helps
Thanks,
Akash

Sounds like it could be a flash player trust issue as described here, but unfortunatly the link to the solution is no longer active.
If you go to
Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Macromedia/FlashPlayerTrust
do you see a
AdobeXMPFileInfo4.cfg file?
