Custom mapping side buttons on mouse

New Here ,
Jun 26, 2019 Jun 26, 2019

Hi,

Im new to this so sorry if Im at the wrong place.

I Photoshop a lot on my Macbook Pro (10.11.6).

Recently my perfect Logitech mouse broke because it was old.

I really liked the grip but I could not buy it because it was so old.

So I bought a cheap gaming mouse from a cheap store. I love it, But i noticed there are 2 side buttons.

Is there a third party app so that I can remap these buttons to a short cut in Photoshop?

For example if I press the buttons my brush will grow or shrink, so I map the brackets to these buttons.

Or another example that I go back (cmd+z) if I press button 1 and change the brush size (ctrl+alt) then click and drag. (hope you understand what I mean)

Hope there is a way for this. Thanks

Ruben

Yes you can normally download an app to change the mouse buttons... Even when you get a cheap one but they tend to be Windows and you are a Mac user so have a look at the mouse settings (top left on most Mac systems) first

In any event it is the system that controls your mouse and not Photoshop
