deleting files

Please help me delete a photoshop file IN PHOTOSHOP.

Photoshop has a "deleted files" tab but I have no idea how to delete files

This is for Windows, but I assume Mac is very similar.

File > Open, and highlight the file you wish to delete. Right-click, and select Delete from the cantext menu.

the photoshop files do not appear in my files on my computer, they only appear when I open photoshop

If you are seeing them only in Photoshop, it is the files you have opened recently, which may or may not have been deleted from your computer. Go to File > Open Recents > Clear Recents File List.
