Downloaded .CR2 File From Amazon Drive Not Recognized

I backup all of my raw photos (.CR2 format) in my Amazon Drive. Today I downloaded a photo and went to open it with Photoshop, but I received an error message that says "Photoshop cannot open this file". I can't open the .CR2 file with preview on my Mac or with Lightroom either. Any help is much appreciated.

Can you post a link to the Raw CR2 file here? We can test it for you at our end.

Which Canon camera model is the Raw file from?

ACR 9.12 had no problem with the .cr2 file.

    Since it a RAW file and RAW files are not saved by photoshop it sound like the file copy may have errors may be corrupr.  Cao any raw processing applicaruin open it.
