Free Transform tool - Reference point shortcut

Hello

until CC2020, while using FT, one can move the ref point just by doing Alt+click somewhere, without dragging it from the center. It was very useful to me since very often I am very close to the image. Now I must zoom out, find the ref point (so small, so thin, almost invisible) and drag it.

Any idea? is it a bug or is it hidden somewhere in the prefereneces? I searched a lot but I've found only the legacy FT flag.

thanks

Lorenzo

Correct answer c.pfaffenbichler

First Off:

There is no Free Trasform Tool in Photoshop.

I am afraid there may indeed be some recent issue and alt-clicking doesn’t work to set the Refence Point in transformation, but alt-click-and-dragging (even a little distance) seems to work.

You're right, there is no "Free Trasform Tool" in Photoshop

I know I am nitpicking about calling it a »tool« … after all I still understood what you meant.

By the way, I found a Bug Report on the issue, maybe you want to add your vote:
