Free Trial, Permanent?

Okay, so im new to the photography field & im looking into Photoshop/lightroom. Well im on the free trial right now to just dip my toes in. Well, when ii did my research it said Ps & Lr dont need a constant internet connection to work. Wellll, ii can not do any editing without a constant connection! Which ii do not have at home. HELP! Do ii need internet to continue using it or not!?!?!?!

    Hi Shelia,

    Are you using the free trial?

    If so, you do need internet connection to use the apps. Once you purchase a subscription, you should be fine working offline and just need to connect periodically.

    You download the applications on to your computer and use them in the normal way. Adobe check via the Internet occasionally (maybe once a month or so) to check that you’re up-to-date  with your subscription — it’s as simple as that!

    I've got them downloaded. Was working on them both yesterday & today. As soon as internect connect was terminated they no longer worked & requested connection!  ‍♀️

    I suggest you uninstall the apps again using the drop-down menu in the Creative Cloud app and reinstall the apps again.
