Question

Functions for which shortcuts don't seem to be available

I'm trying to speed up my Photoshop workflow, and I've identified a couple of things I'd like to be able to do, but I can't find settings for them -- so I thought I'd ask if anybody knows if this stuff is possible at all.

- Can you make it so that middle-clicking a document window's tab closes that document?

- Can you set up shortcuts for scrolling instantly to the top or bottom of the layers or history menu, like Home and End take you to the top or bottom of a document respectively?

- Is it possible to set up keyboard shortcuts for the "justify type right," "justify type left," "align left edges" and "align right edges" commands?

I appreciate any and all help.

You can not set a middle mouse button click to be a Photoshop shortcut  Adobe Edit Keyboard Shortcuts does not have support for the mouse middle button.   However your mouse software may be able to program the middle mouse button to be Photoshop Close shortcut Ctrl+W

Thank you, that works perfectly for that issue!

I'm still looking for answers for the 2nd and 3rd question, though.

Thanks for all the help. I've set up the shortcuts for aligning layers, and I'll make actions for aligning type -- that should probably work, I don't think I need custom scripts for that. So my 1st and 3rd questions are solved.

Kukurykus , sorry, I didn't understand your answer to my 2nd question. Which palette do you mean?

Probably you meant moving thru layers, not thru layer panel that I meant.
