Question

GIF "freezes" after exporting.

I recently made an animated GIF on photoshop. I set the frame delays to the exact speed that I wanted them. When it came to exporting (through save for web) the preview looked absolutelty fine but the exported GIF froze on one frame.

How can I make sure that the exported GIF looks exactly the same as in the Photoshop file?

Any help would be much appreciated!

What version of Photoshop and on which OS version perhaps you hit a bug. Can you post your a link to your PSD with the Frame or video animation?

Hello,

Thanks for your response.

I'm using Version 21.0.3 on macOS Catalina 10.15.02.  I have attached the gif, the problem doesn't seem to be visible in this post. It seems to only freeze on my desktop, does this mean the problem is with my laptop? Im not the most technical as you have probably guessed haha!

I do not use a Mac. So I can not answer what Apple may not allow to operate locally. On Windows  I can tell you that are things Microsoft allow Browser to run from remote servers but not locally.  I seem to remember one was Flash related.  I could generate Web Photo galleries that did  not display in Photoshop preview the used my browser on my machine with the webs Photo Gallery on my local disk but when I uploaded the web photo gallery to my Web servers they worked in my browser. This seemed strange to me for the browser transmit the uploaded files back to my machine to be displayed.  I'm sure it has something to do with security that I do noy know about. Gif Animate locally on Windows in browser and other applications.
