Question

How do I get info from old PSD?

I have old PSDs and I don't remember exactly what I did to them and I don't have the xmp files, so I can't add a new layer with the same look. Sometimes I open the raw file in Camera Raw and it still has the same setting so that helps. Is there a way to get the info from old PSDs so I can work on them again?

Go to File > File Info and look under the raw (metadata) tab. Perhaps you’ll find some CRS XMP metadata.

To me it seems you have not given a good description of what your problem is so far.

Could you please try again with the help of screenshots that illustrate both the Layer structure, the nature of the editing, the source material, …?

Is the real issue here the RAW processing?

Did you utilise Smart Objects in the old files?

    Hello,

it all depends on what you did in the past with that image, if you have merge or rasterized all the layers or you had used effects or styles that are no longer in your computer (like Nik Collection Plugin for example), you can not retrieve the information.
