How to go about activating Photoshop CS2 downloaded app

I am having trouble activating the copy of CS2 I had to download to install on my newer computer after the old on died. I downloaded it from the support site because it is an older version and the original serial number wouldn't work for activation. The new serial number I got from the download also did not work. What can I do? I need to activate this soon

CS2 can no longer be activated.

There is a special non-activation version with a special non-activation serial number which must be used.
