How to open Canon R5 CR3 in Camera RAW or Photoshop

Have a new Canon R5 with the latest firmware.   Camera RAW, Bridge and Photoshop are the lastest editions as of today 16 April 2021.    It seems that I should be able to open CR3 files.    I cannot.   I have to download them, cull, convert the remainder to DNGs.    Have ameded Bridge preferences so that DNGs open in Bridge.

Has anyone else this problem?     Is there a solution?    Am I missing something obvious.   When I try to open a CR3 file, I am told that it is the wrong sort of document.    Tried on my laptop with the same results
