You can type it in so people can read it. You can't have a link in an image... What are you going to do with the image? If you are placing it in a web page you can attach the link to the image in HTML. I really don't understand the question.

Thank you. Yes apologies i am new to photoshop.

I have typed in the url as text but cant seem to find a way to test it so basically text on my image looks like this  https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=10002309999999 (fictious example) but even if i save it as a jpeg or anything and click on it I cant test the link works as nothing happens .  Is there a way to test the link is working without posting to facebook

So creating the image in  photoshop and tried using a slice to put link on but I just basically have an image that i want to upload to a post and have a link to click to another facebook link. (image of music then link will go to a site where someone is playing live music on a friday in facebook - he will place it as a post) thanks for your response.

Hi Mandy

Image formats don't support clickable links, yes, you can type it in there but it's not going to be clickable.

please show us an example from another user online that actually does what you want to achieve.

I hope this helps
