How to remove a dead pixel line?

New Here ,
May 28, 2020 May 28, 2020

I've a DSLR whose sensor has a single dead line of pixels.  What is the easiest way to fix it or simply remove that line of pixel?  ie. make the image 1 pixel shorter is fine for me.  I tried searching for an answer but I can only find solutions for fixing a single hot pixel, not an entire line.

Also is there a way to make an action so I can apply it automatically on import?

Thanks for all your help in advance.

Have you tried drawing a very fine line with the spot healing brush?

Easy to record an action to fix:

Here I have recorded the single row marquee selection tool at 175 px down, the dead pixel row is 176 px. New layer via CMD/CTRL J and then arrow key down once to move 1 px down, stop recording.

Dave suggested the spot healing brush, which could also be recorded into an action.
