Image is getting too dark after importing

That's a broken monitor profile from the monitor manufacturer, distributed through Windows Update.

Replace your current profile with sRGB (or Adobe RGB if wide gamut monitor). The proper way to deal with it is to use a calibrator to make a new profile, but if you don't have one, sRGB is often close enough for non-critical use. Relaunch PS/Lr when done, the profile is loaded at application startup:
