Image processor Unconstrained Size?

Hello!

So I need to resize images to an UNCONSTRAINED size of 574x663 px and be able to use the action in image processor.

Could someone either a) tell me the proper action steps to do this or b) have an action already written that I could edit to the proper size??

I've tried doing this, but the aspect ratio is different for a lot of my pictures.

Please please help me out with this!

1. Open one of your images

2. in the Action panel clic on the NEW ACTION button and give a name to your process. Photoshop will record what you do.

3. get into Image/Image size, check Resample and uncheck the chain simbol. Type in the size you need and press OK

4. in the action panel clic on the STOP button.

To use your action on the files

1. go to File/Automate/Batch

2. in the Batch window, choose the action you just did. You can set a source folder and a destination folder. Press OK.

Do you want to distort the images? Because Image > Image Size seems to record in an Action just fine.

If not could you please post screenshots or sketches to clarify the procedure you want to automate?

I do not wish to distort the images. I was hoping that there was a way to constrain the photos to the size of my template without having to do them one by one, because I get tons of orders and it wastes time. I'd like to be able to take all of my photos, regardless of size or aspect ratio, and make them the exact size of my template instead of having to manually transform each one.

I'm sure you understand, when you think about it, that those two are mutually exclusive. That has nothing at all to do with Photoshop, just how geometry works in this universe.

Photoshop wants to keep the aspect ratio for you. You can create an action to crop them at that size, would that work for you?
