Hello everyone!
Many years ago I purchased a Photoshop CS4 license directly from Adobe which was later upgraded to a full version of CS5.1 Extended. I have the licence active on my current computer (Win10) and on my old computer (Win7). I am now attempting to deactivate the license from my old computer. However when I attempt to deactivate the CS5 I get an error loop where it tells me to connect to the internet and continue. I am connected to the internet but of course that doesn't help since it just tries to deactivate for a while and then plops back to the same "connect to internet - continue" message. I am now stuck in what appears to be an endless loop and can not for the life of me deactive the license on my old Win7 computer.
What I can see when signing in on my Adobe Account is that the licence is registered in the database in 2009. However this registration says the following (I have deleted the registration number):
I'm not sure if this is importent but thought I would mention it.
I have also read a bit about this issue here on the forum and as far as I understand I need to get help from Adobe to resolve this problem. However... does anyone know how to actually reach Adobe? It appears to be quite impossible to leave a message or contact them about CS5 from the helpdesk. I am also concerned that if I should somehow manage to actually get a hold of someone that the licence would end up being deactivated on the wrong computer.
Please, does anyone have any idea how to solve this so that I may get help from Adobe with deactivating my licence on my Win 7 computer but still keep the active licence on my Win10 computer?
Thank you all so much in advance!
