Ink blotting at end of lines - line pressure issue

I've been having this issue for so long I've just gotten used to it but it's starting to make me want to rip my teeth out. At the end of each stroke my lines will "blot" as if the pressure suddenly stops as I end the line. I've changed sensitivity, updated drivers and use the latest Photoshop. It happens with every brush I use and only doesn't appear when I lightly use the brush which is not how it's supposed to be handled. 

I use a Mac for reference and aside from this minor issue the lines are fine aside from just the blotting. Please help.
