Is there a brush option to draw in a curve, radius defined by a number entry cm or pixels perhaps ?

Hi,

CS6

Trying to paint a perfect curve of uniform or even increasing or decreasing radius is not an easy feat for a human, I am tracing curves and using shift and clicking a bit at a time but think/hope there might be a radius setting somewhere ? Perhaps also one where use of [ or ] key or arrow keys etc can alter radius as you draw.

Cheers

Hi

I don't know of a way to do that in Photoshop, and maybe another volunteer will chime in.

You can do it in Illustrator if you have that. Here I applied a watercolor brush to a straight line path, then copied it twice and used the Width tool to add multiple widths to the line. Is this what you are looking for?

Try to stroke path (curve made with path tool) with brush.

(if I understood correctly.)
