Question

Is there a way to open & use Photoshop CC without an internet connection ?

I live in the sticks & have power outages all the time. Every now & then, I only lose Verizon. With no TV, phone or Internet, it would be great to still work in Photoshop CC. Since the program is already downloaded, can it be started with an active internet connection ?

there are major issues like 'browse in bridge' failing to open... these are because Adobe assumes online when they do their cc app interfacing so I would try to have internet on the first time you open any Adobe app but after that it gets better

I keep my laptop offline 90% of the time and have no problem using CC desktop software.  Obviously, you cannot use Cloud Storage & libraries  or any of the other Adobe online services.  So having online access does open up more possibilities but it's not mandatory to use Photoshop or Illustrator, etc...

Yes, you download the Photoshop application onto your computer and use it in the usual way. Adobe checks periodically online that you’re up-to-date with your subscription.

As long as you sign in every 30 days through an internet connection it will work happily in between without.
