Contributor ,
Jul 23, 2019 Jul 23, 2019

Not sure where to post this. Trying to create custom color libraries for photoshop using ase. values for a custom foil library in Photoshop CC 2018.

I found a json and plug in to created color books by Tonton Pixel, and the formula works perfectly untill i start pluging in my own values? Ive validated the json and its good but the behavior in the "create new spot channel is a little wonky. Dropbox - BE Foil Library.json -

Any suggestions?

Long story short:  People have tried and the results had problems.

"For the most part, you should not be creating color book files.   Those are for folks like Pantone, Toyo, DIC, etc. who publish real swatch books.

Most users should only be creating .ACO or .ASE files for their color swatches."  -- Chris Cox

That doesn't mean it can't be done, and I get that it should be a formula, just not sure of the exact  one. I am familiar with that thread thank you

So? Perhaps that user or other still want help. What's wrong with that. You see that omnibar in the top, see the first word? Think about that word, let it sin in

I disagree with you, I've seen it many times someone responds. Not sure why you seem to have an issue with that, I'm not responding to you

😕  Whoever you think you're responding to is long gone from this 3-1/2 year old topic.  Just saying...

If you have something relevant to share, why not start a new topic?
