Lighting effects tab greyed out Photoshop 2020

Lighting effects tab greyed out under render tab.  I am in RGB color mode and 8 bit.  doesn't work....?

Hi,

We're sorry about the trouble with Photoshop. Please go to the Preferences for Photoshop, then Performance to ensure that the option to Use Graphics Processor is checked. If the option is unchecked, enable it and then relaunch Photoshop to check if you are able to access the Lighting Effects.
