Lightroom link to Photoshop broken

LR link to PS broken. Can't fix with restarts. Worked once with image going to PS as smart object, but now not at all. PS is greyed out in LR. PS will open independently.

Thank you for your reply.



I had tried the uninstall and reinstall options. Unfortunately, no luck.



Adobe chat support, Kucharov, I think, was able to help me with addition of
an option in LR to go to the current public build of PS (bypassing the
current new-build). This gets me back in business.

Hi there,

 

We're sorry about the trouble while trying to edit images in Photoshop through Lightroom. Would you mind confirming the versions of both Lightroom & Photoshop that you are using along with your computers operating system?

 

You can try re-installing both Photoshop & Lightroom Classic to check if that helps.
