But why do you want to remove it? Are you using it without the creator's permission?

I am sure that you are aware of WHY images have water marks! That said: you will need to use the healing brush, stamp tool, and maybe even content aware fill and definately a combination of them all.

We should not be helping with theft. Please don’t share tools or techniques to remove watermarks, no matter how obvious.

this is true and normally i wouldn't but this (image) looks like an image showing watermarking examples and may not be copy "protected" at all. It maybe a student? Or maybe I misjudged completely. Benefit of the doubt? I don't think the user intends to do anything with it other than practice. And if that it not the case then that sucks!

To me, coming to a forum used by pro photographers and asking how to remove watermarks is exactly like going to a forum used by shopkeepers and trying to discuss the best way to steal good from shops...

I agree. I see no valid reason why someone would want to 'practice' image theft. The answer is to go to the owner of the image and ask for a copy without the watermark. Of course that may involve a payment for use, but that is why the watermark is there.

I don't watermark and embed copyright info into my images so that someone can play around in Photoshop and remove them and then make use of my work for free.

If I choose to make some of my images available for use then that is my choice, not someone else's.
