Hi aci,

Have you checked with the plug-in developer or their website, to see if there is an update? Red Giant | Adobe CS6 Updates Are Here!

Did you not think to check the Red Giant site for a Red Giant software issue?  You are not completely out of luck.  You can install Previous Versions of Photoshop from the Application Manager, along with the current version, and switch between to use this product.   It doesn't look like it is going to work with CC2015 or later though.

Does Looks work with Photoshop CC 2015? – Red Giant FAQ

Does Looks work with Photoshop CC 2015?

PhotoLooks was discontinued prior to Photoshop CC 2015's release, so it is not technically compatible with that Photoshop version.

If you would like to install the last version of PhotoLooks (which was compatible with CC 2014), you can use the Color Suite installer which is found on redgiant.com/legacy.

The new render engine in Magic Bullet Looks 3.0 was updated to run on the GPU to provide faster playback and rendering, and while this process works well for footage up to 4k resolution, it does not scale to the potential size used for still photography. Coupled with that, our new engine no longer supports CPU rendering, which was the main rendering method used in Photolooks.

Our goal at Red Giant is to always offer unique products that are the best of breed in their respective category and provide real value to our customers.  If any of our products do not meet this criteria, we either add new features or consider discontinuing them. PhotoLooks no longer meets our criteria and will be discontinued from our product catalog.  We are committed to providing unique color correction applications for video editors and compositors and will continue to expand our product offering for our supported NLE applications.

Bugger.  I had it in my head that you were using Photoshop CC, and I was going to suggest trying earlier versions of Photoshop.  But I now see you are using CS6.   From the flick through the RG site I thought your plug-in should run OK.  I have no experience of Windows 10, but I am wondering if Compatibility Mode will fix your issue?

Photoshop changed the way it used add-ons with CC2014.2 moving from the old Flash based coding to HTML5.  Many add-ons and extensions no longer worked after this. I don't know how this affects plug-ins, but there are certainly compatibility issues with some, and it generally needed updated installation files for your plug-ins to work and/or be seen by later Photoshop versions.
