I think you should trade in your Chrome book for a new iPad pro Adobe should have a Photoshop CC Version for it by year end.  If you wish to give Adobe your feedback use their Photoshop Community site Photoshop Family Customer Community

Why would you suggest getting an IPad.  If you have a Chomebook, like I do, chances are you are an Android person and have no desire to have Apple products.  Android users stay with Android based products and Apple users stay with Apple products.

It all boils down to technology and demand i.e. is the platform (hardware and OS) up to it and, if so, are there enough people on the platform that would pay for a subscription to make developing a new version for that base profitable?

Adobe seem to think that the answer for the iPad Pro is yes to both of those questions and are developing a version for that platform. So far the answers on Linux and Chromebooks appear to be less convincing.

    Hi

Chrome OS is based on Linux kernel and there have been many threads about Photoshop for Linux

    Re: Photoshop for Linux OS?

Also you not really addressing Adobe here although some Staff members to come along from time to time, you would be better off posting here, I wouldn't get your hopes up though
