Hello.

Is anyone able to instruct me how to create these both "MALEFICENT" text effects? If not exactly the same, I need it as close as possible. Can it even be done with latest Photoshop?
Any detail is welcome.

So, basically, just because I did not say Thank You, everyone stopped looking at this?

No, you are completely misreading what happened.

You said that the solution that mglush posted was not what you were looking for, but you never said in what way it did not match what you wanted. I thought it looked close to the effect you showed. Unless you describe your goals further, no one here knows how to help you acheive the look you are going for.

Perhaps a 'thank you for trying' would be appropriate.  Manner these days!

Right. I do not have manners just because I did not say Thank you...

Someone took time out of their day to try to offer you help - even if the result was not what you were looking for, a thank you for the effort would be good manners, along with maybe a little explaination of what exactly wasn't "right" about the solution you were offered.

Hi!

Here are a series of screen shots that will get you close to the effect above.

Note the blending settings in this next screenshot:

Select the Type tool and change the Type color to something like the color noted below, and create your text:

With your Type layer selected in the Layer's panel, double click on the layer to bring up the Layer Styles Dialog box. Click on Bevel and Emboss and use the following settings. note the Gloss contour setting:

Click on Inner Shadow on the left side of the Dialog and change the settings to the following: Again note the contour setting:

Next, click on Inner Glow and change the settings to the following: and again, note the Contour setting:

Next, click on Satin and change the settings to what you see in the dialog box below:

Play with these settings to experiment and fine tune the look you are going for. If you have any questions, let us know!

Michelle
