Moving letters separately.

How can I  move letters individually in Photoshop? For instance, I wrote 'Photoshop' on a blank layer by using the 'Type' tool and I want to separate 'P' and 'h' letters  from each other individually. What should I  do?

If you click with the type tool between two letters in your text, you can then hold down ALT (or Option) and use the left/right arrows to add or subtract space between those letters.

You can also affect a vertical offset with baseline shift

How do you want to move them? Not just normal kerning or leading? You can either type the letters individually, so that they're on their own layer or you can duplicate the main text layer, mask out the other letters, then move just the one you want - masking out that letter in the main layer. You can convert the text layer to a shape then move the different letters around by selecting them. Of course you will not be able to correct type, once you do that. Below is a screen shot of converting the text to a shape layer:
