My crop tool in CC 2017 suddenly has rounded corners so it doesn't crop to the exact area I specify.

I think that an update might have changed things but I cannot find a setting or anything that puts it back to the original hard - exact - setting so the crop reflects specifically what has been outlined by the "box.". Any help is MUCH appreciated!

Hi GQC,

Deselect, then look in your options bar. You'll see a Feather amount. Change it to zero and select again.

Hi

Are you using the Crop tool "C" or the Marquee tool with a feather applied in the options bar? We can't see your Tools panel or options bar from your screen shot.

Hi Jane, I'm simply choosing the "rectangular marquee tool" - M (dashed rectangle) from the toolbar.
