new to ps basic question on how to change the pattern in bucket fill?

Im new to PS and im having trouble useing the paint bucket.It seems to be set for bubbles but i would like to change it  to some kind of color fill insted. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Go to the options bar at the top of the window and change pattern to Foreground - then it will use your foregound colour.

It sounds like you are doing a pattern fill  or using the paint bucket tool set to pattern fill.
