I have photoshop CS6 and I just upgraded my camera to a nikon D7500. I shoot in RAW so when i went to upload my pictures, it said it didn't support them with that camera. (I don't remember exactly how it was worded) anyway, it said i needed to update it. So i went to the update tab and it says " the update server is not responding. The server might be offline temporarily or the internet or firewall setting may be incorrect" I am no computer guru so I don't have the slightest idea what to do. I have some pictures I NEED to edit and I can't even open them so I'm freaking out.

    • The Nikon D7500 was first supported in Camera Raw 9.12 (nine point twelve)
      Cameras supported by Camera Raw
    • CS6 is only compatible with Camera Raw up to version 9.1.1 (nine point one point one). That's 11 updates behind 9.12 There are no further updates for CS6 so you cannot update to Camera Raw 9.12 so you'll never be able to open D7500 Raw files in CS6
    • Option 1: Pay to join the Adobe Cloud and open your Raw files in the latest version of Photoshop CC, or
    • Option 2 (Free): download the Adobe DNG converter, batch convert all Raw files to DNG format. Then edit your DNG files in CS6. An extra step for you but no extra cost.
