Opening PDF or Illustrator file and Photoshop opens a blank file

Whene ever I open an Illustrator file or PDF in Photoshop it opens a blank file, I have to re open it so I can see the file it self.

This happen with all files or specific files?!
Which version you are working with?!

By the way, resetting photoshop may help you.
With Photoshop closed, press and hold Shift+Ctrl+Alt (Win) / Shift+Command+Option (Mac) on your keyboard and relaunch Photoshop the way you normally would.
