Parse error when opening a movie file - .mov, .mp4

Hello,

I've got two macbook pros - an old 2014 model and the latest model(with the M1 chip). When i try to open a .mp4 and .mov file in the Photoshop version 22.3.0, in my 2014 macbook with Catalina OS, the file opens. When i try to open the same file on my latest Macbook pro with macOS Big Sur and Photoshop 22.3.0, I get this error 

"Could not place “Color Title 04_2.mov” because no parser or file format can open the file."

I get the same message when trying to place any movie file. Please could you help me resolve this.
