Pencil tool stuck.

I can't seem to be able to draw anything.

How can I get the pencil tool back?

Hi

if none of suggestions above are the issue then try resetting the Tools

Failing that a preference reset may be in order

You may want to backup your settings before performing a preferences reset

Migrate presets, actions, and settings

I have no idea of why it KEEPS on happening.

I reseted all tools and it works now. So that will be the fix next time it happens.

However I will keep an eye on the other suggest possible problems see if I can find the reason of why it happens.

If it happens again, post a screen shot of your options bar and possibly your Paragraph and Character panels (Window menu). They will help us to troubleshoot.

Hi

The first thing to check is the color you are drawing with — if you are drawing with white on the Background layer which is already white, nothing will appear.

Also check the Blending mode and confirm it is normal.

If that doesn’t work, show your Tools panel and options bar.

The recording was a good idea but you clipped off relevant Parts (Options Bar, Toolbox, …).

What is the Tool’s Blend Mode and opacity, what is Foreground Color etc.?
