Photoshop 2020 - Flashing Screen on macOS

 Photoshop 2020!!! And the problem remained!!!!!! The window flashes! In cc2019 everything works!!! And at the start screen, when you click on the "create new" button, the old interface starts at all!!! Really it is impossible to correct it and to start such crude product, already there were so many updates!!! Terrible!!!!!!!

Hi there,

We're sorry to hear about a bad experience with the recent udpate of Photoshop, could you please try deselecting "Use Graphics Processor" located in Photoshop's Preferences > Performance, then relaunch Photoshop and let us know if it helps?

Clicking on "create new" opens the old window. In ss2019 such a not was!!! Now this window is available if you click in the menu bar "create new", but there it flashes!!! Because of these problems, i have to use photoshop cc2019. Instructions that are sent do not help! This is not a stable product!??I've always wondered why photoshop icon with rounded corners?))) I'm in shock! Is someone reading this from Adobe? Why do I need support at all? People complain, this is a raw product, urgently fix it! This is terrible!!! So much time has passed!

You did get a response from an Adobe employee on the same day you asked the question. He gave you a suggested solution but you have yet to respond if you did the change and if it worked.

Also the rounded corner icon means it is connected to the new Adobe Cloud.

Unfortunately, this didn't help my scenario. When I tried to turn off the Use Graphics Processor (which took forever because photoshop keeps becoming unresponsive upon opening performance preferences), I was still receiving a flashing "Create New" screen even after restarting the program.

I would start by resetting preferences - in Preference>General >Reset Preferences on Quit then close and restart Photoshop.

If that does not help, then please go to Help >System Info and Press "copy". Then paste the info here. It may help us see why this is happening on your system

This might help.

On my imac 2020, in display preferences, set the resolution to Default. I realise this makes most edits, resizing, etc on photoshop smooth again, no flickering.
