Photoshop 2020, on a windows 10 pro computer won't export full size JPRGs

I don't know what's going on, this seemed to just start I have some files I worked on I want to export or save as a full-size JPG (files are 17 to 24 MB in size).

No matter what I do save, save as, export as, even the old save for web, my files export out as 750 to 800 kb.  I need to send these to a printer.  I have done this in the past with no issues.  Any Thoughts

Thank you in advanced

DUH  I knew it was something stupid, I just went back in and looked at the export for web window and saw that optimized was selected, I switched to original and I get a 13mb file .  Thanks for responding.  I knew it had to be something obvious I was overlooking.  week 8 of staying inside is playing mind tricks.

Thanks again

Joe

The jpeg file format uses very aggressive data compression to reduce file size on disk. It is important to understand that a file format is a storage container. An open image does not have a file format. The data are packaged for storage on disk, and in the case of jpeg, those data are compressed down to 2 -10% of original storage size.

When you reopen a jpeg it is decompressed back to original size. Once open, it is no longer a jpeg, just an image like any other.

Jpeg compression is destructive, cumulative and non-reversible, and the file degraded with every new save. Image size in pixels is the same, but artifacts build up and detail is gradually lost.

I understand about jpeg compression, but this work flow has worked for me for years.  Its weird that I can't even get a 1mb jpeg out of a 24 mg layered file in photoshop. It has to be a setting or something I a overlooking
