New Here ,
Sep 07, 2017 Sep 07, 2017

Hi, My very very old, but working Photoshop 7,0 has just disactviated. I haven't change the computer or anything. The internet activation doesn't work. The chat doesn't support this product any longer. They advised me to ask you for help. What should I do to be able to use it again?

Thanks in advance

Anna

This isn't Photoshop 7 (which didn't require activation), this is Photoshop CS2.

Adobe shut down the CS/CS2 activation servers a while ago. AFAK it was a third-party solution and no longer serviceable.

To keep legitimate owners in business, Adobe put up a non-activation version, with a special serial number. So what you need to do is uninstall this one (wipe the serial number) and download a new one here:

That screenshot looks like CS or CS2. Photoshop 7 had a different image (an eye) in the top of the toolbar.

Anyway, the activation server for CS2 and earlier was shut down by Adobe many years ago. You now have to install a non-activaiton version of CS2.
