Photoshop & Lightroom freezing while applying adjustments

Im having problems in PS & LR  when making adjustments I move the slider adjustments with mouse  start then freeze I can not move the mouse or do anything for about 30sec  it only happens in PS & LR all other programs work fine.

We're sorry about the trouble with Photoshop & Lightroom. Would you mind sharing the versions or both Photoshop & Lightroom you're using along with your computers operating system?

You can try disabling the option to Use Graphics Processor from Photoshop by disabling the option to Use Graphics Processor by going to Preferences, then Performance. Once done, quit & relaunch Photoshop to check if that helps. If it helps, you can do the same in Lightroom.
