Me and my collegues have the same issue.. We have been struggeling for 4 weeks now! Photoshop  and illustrator freezes over simple small files. The mouse even locks on to layers and this happens especially with moving objects or when i paste an image. I tried everything. Reastarting the computer, Undating the software, uninstalling my wacom software, Uninstallng external HD. I have the same porblem on 5 different computers 3 Laptops that run on mojave 1014.6 One brand new laptop (Retine 15inch, 2,6 GHz 6-core Intelcore I7 16 GB,2667MHz DDR4,

NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M 2 GB

Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB.) that runs on Catelina 10.15.2 All computers run the Adobe Cloud Apps that arelicenced to my company. that's the only thing that they have in common. I can't get it solved. I even spoke several times to adobe employees that I gave remote access to my computer but they were not able to fix this problem. Somebody help us out please!

Hello, please remember to give as much relevant info as possible: your OS, your Photoshop version, how much ram, what CPU? the graphic card, etc. Also state if you are using graphic tablets, other hardware. Check as well that Photoshop is the only program running, then add the other ones one by one, to see if the problem does not originate from elsewhere...

What have you done for trouble-shooting so far?

Does turning off »Use Graphics Processor« in the Performance Preferences (Photoshop > Preferences > Performance > Graphic Processor Settings) and restarting Photoshop have any bearing on the issue?

And if you are using Photoshop CC 2020 on Mac OS Catalina you may just be out of luck … there seem to be unexplained and unresolved issues there.
